New OSHA Fines for Dust Particles in HEPA Vacuums in Aug 2016

High-Efficiency Particulate Air vacuums, known as HEPA vacuums, are much different than conventional vacuums. They contain certified HEPA filters that are capable of capturing the finest micron-sized most dangerous-to-breath dust particles. The HEPA vacuum helps the dangerous particles from being released back into the air. HEPA vacuums help provide perfectly breathable air from dust and particles that are hazardous. When using a HEPA vacuum, they will be efficient for fast recovery of bulk dry dust, debris and other building material found at construction, abatement, and restoration sites. Since HEPA vacuums can trap the tiniest airborne particles, the United States Department of Labor require the vacuums for final cleanup of at and around remediation areas.
