Concrete Cleaning Chemical- Say Goodbye to Stubborn Stains

Importance of Cleaning

Interiors are as important as exteriors. Keeping our interiors nice and clean is good for physical as well as mental health. Concrete flooring comprises a major portion when it comes to interiors. Concrete floors should be kept clean and stain-free for numerable reasons. Some of them are:

      To lower stress and fatigue
To maintain physical and mental health
      To kill germs
To reduce allergy and asthma symptoms
To improve the quality of indoor air
To enhance the aesthetics of home
      To upgrade overall lifestyle

Concrete surfaces tend to accumulate dust or dirt particles rampantly. Though maintaining the flooring on a regular basis is a tedious process, it cannot be overlooked. In this scenario, Concrete Cleaning Chemical comes to our rescue. It helps remove stains of food, oil, spills or other substances. A large variety of cleaners are available in the market that are useful to clean the concrete surfaces or get them rid of stains. Although water itself can clear the dirt/dust, Concrete Cleaning Chemicals are designed to prevent the concrete from contamination from specific stains. It is recommended to put the chemical for around 15 minutes on the contaminated area and then power clean the surface. The process of cleaning can be fastened, if the concrete cleaning chemical is mixed with hot water and a flat surface cleaner.

Periodic cleaning concrete extends its service span and adds to the beauty. Once the process is completed, the outcome of newly cleaned concrete is clearly observable. There are various methods of concrete cleaning depending on the surface type (floors, slabs, countertops, etc.) and a different procedure is needed for each. Concrete power washing is applied for removal of oil from garages, parking-lots, and other concrete pavements. To clean soot from concrete, alkaline cleaners are also a preferred chemical option.

Alkaline Cleaners (other name for ‘concrete degreasers’) are applied to eradicate oil, grease, or some other hydrocarbon-based stains in concrete. The Concrete Cleaning Chemicals breaks down the oily contamination. The other usage of these cleaners is to neutralize concrete areas post acid cleaning or acid staining. Another advantage of alkaline cleaners is that they are affordable too and do not go heavy on pockets.

Mechanism of working:

They are generally concentrates that are diluted with water (depending on the intensity of the stain). Scrubbing the cleaner on the stain yields better results. It is advisable to put the cleaner on the stain for a considerable amount of time. Sometimes, even multiple applications could be needed, considering the kind and penetration of stain. The residue should be removed with clean water, and reapplied until the stain is completely clear.
